Hi, I'm pretty new myself, so i ask that any experienced glider owners correct me if I'm wrong or back me up if I'm right, because I'm not too confident that I'm in a position to be giving advice, but i did read somewhere that hamster balls are not a good idea because they could get their delicate toes caught in those little slits. (actually I kinda hope I'm wrong, I'd really love to get my boy a ball. )

Unfortunately you are correct - the slits in the ball are a nail and toe injury waiting to happen. In addition, gliders tent to pee and poop while running and being in the ball it would be all over their fur when you take them out.

There is a safer option called a Run-about that you and your glider might like
