Hi, I'm new here. I'm getting twin female sugar gliders in June I have been obsessed with researching and getting ready for my girls. I was wanting suggestions on names. My husband and I can't seem to decide I was thinking maybe Lola for one but I'm not set on it. Thanks guys!!

When I got my first pair, two females about a year old, they came with names. I thought at the time about renaming them, but couldn't figure out anything. So I kept their names and they ended up suiting their personality.

A couple of years ago I thought of names I thought would be cute, I wouldn't change my girl's names now, but if I had thought of them then, they would be named Hoot and Nanny.

But that's just me, lol.

There are many names to choose and many methods to choose them. You can always wait to see them and see what suits them. When I homed my boy, I didn't keep his name because it didn't mesh too well with my girl's names, so I had to change it. I had a few names I liked for a boy, but they just didn't seem to suit him. Then my then husband one night (a few nights after we had him) said "how about Ollie?" I liked it and so that is his name. I now have a trio named Ollie, Lulu & Skadoosh.

I have a girl which I named Roo and I have a new baby boy that I let my daughter name. He is Sir Nigel Thornberry. It was a cartoon that she used to watch when she was younger. :D

I have a young male that just bounced back and forth in his cage like the old game Pong soooo he ended up with the name Atari.
A month later I got a retired breeding pair that the owner never told me their names so keeping with the video game console names the male became Sega and the female Genesis.

Fevy's previous owner/s named him Hyphy but that sounded like a fungi and was completely unworthy of his awesomeness. He didn't know his name anyway when I adopted him, so I changed it to Lord Feverstone after one of my favorite storybook villains.

I think a name will come to you that suits them! I usually go with whatever pops into my head. My cat looked like a kidney bean when she was born and I didn't know her gender, so I called her Bean. Then when I found out she was a girl, I changed it to the french word for green beans because it sounded more ladylike. She ended up having green eyes so it worked.

The thing about gliders is once you start, you can't stop. So, if you're cdo like I am (because it SHOULD be in alphabetical order!), then you might want to consider a theme that allows for expansion.

Personally, I went with Arthurian legends, but I also considered Star Wars, Star Trek, Disney movies... you get the idea.

I think we've decided on Penelope and Piper! We might change our minds but for now we're pretty set. What do you guys think?
