Ok I have had glider for years... I have had this breeding pair for almost 5 years. This is the firs time I have ever seen a just OOP Joey outside of the sleep pouch. When she called out, the female didn't run to her. Dad is in the bag and I put her in the sleeping pouch with him. Is this a BAD sign? Or is she ok?

Every time I have checked on hem, they are all in the sleeping pouch but I have yet to catch the Joey feeding. I removed anything else that mom could go use as a place to sleep. Mom was just hanging out last night. Once I picked up the Joey and put her back into the pouch is when the dad went back in with her.
I'll keep a very close eye on them tonight. I should have thought to get the joeys weight.

If the joey is not crying constantly she is getting something to eat, unless she is simply too weak to cry. How long have they been OOP?
Next time they are out, watch closely and see if you can tell if her stomach is full/rounded. See if this time the joey is left in the pouch.
This is a veteran pair so they know what they are doing.

They seem to be much better. I did supplement feed a few times, and now the mom is doing great. I am not too sure what was going on, but the lil girl seems to be doing well, just likes to explore with her eyes closed and fuss often.

Very good to hear this report. Are there two joeys or just this one little girl this time?
She does sound like a little independent one, doesn't she
