My heart is very heavy today as I woke up this morning to find my sweet Nicky had just passed away. I found him laying on the shelf, still warm and moveable. I picked him up and cuddled him not knowing if he even got to feel my last touch. I'm so upset that I didn't find him any sooner so I could have been of comfort to him as he took his last breath. I'm worried about Nina, they have been together for 11 years and had babies together. I don't know if she even knows he's gone yet as she was in her pouch when I found Nicky. I moved her cage between the other two cages so she will be closer to my other gliders.

Nicky was the sweetest little thing ever! He had the most energy of all my gliders He was always the first one up looking for me to come in with his food. He would always dive onto things at the bottom of the cage and he would run like his tail was on fire. I never thought he would go first but I do know he lived a long and happy life.

I'm so sad to have to say goodbye Nicky, me and Nina will miss you and you will be forever in my memories! Thank you for all the times you made me laugh and smile, I was so blessed to have you in my life.

Thank you everyone! I spent some extra time with Nina lat night and while we were in the bathroom, she hardly ever left me which is unusual. When I put her back in the cage, she was running around and checking the pouches, I'm wondering if she was looking for Nicky, I'm sure she could smell his scent but couldn't find him. She seemed ok with her new neighbors on each side of her cage and I gave her a plastic bracelet which really interested her. She seemed to have some pretty good energy and I saw her even run on her wheel a little bit. I kept talking to her while she was in the cage and I put my hands in there a lot so she wouldn't feel alone. She seemed to be doing well before I went to bed. I'm planning on carrying her around today in my short later. I really hope she is going to be ok

keep us posted on how she does I would spend a lot of time daily with her now take her with you a lot so she keeps busy and don't have time to dwell on nicky
