So..I had started searching for a companion for Mika a few days ago. I found one! I randomly stumbled upon someone in South Carolina. She has a white face male who will be neutered in 2 weeks. Upon closer inspection, according to the Pedigree website they are first cousins! I really feel like that was a sign to take the little guy.
I still have another month before he will arrive here (by plane) but I'm so excited. His breeder says he has an excellent temperament and gets along well with her other suggies.
I need help with a name. I've come up with a list of ones I really like, but I'd love input! Koga Link Ezio(Et-sio) Crowley Dexter Natsu
he's so cute! Congrats on finding your suggie a friend! Hmm... I'm thinking I like the name Ezio. What's "Natsu" from? I have a friend who's screen name ends in natsu.
So after a long flight I picked up my new boy! His name is Koga. I love him already.
He settled into his new cage really easily. He was out and about exploring within a half hour of being put in there. He took a yogie from me and even licked my finger. I left him alone after that.
Mika knew he was there. All night she was barking to him, and he responded with this hiss bark sound? It didn't sound aggressive, more like "Sssss, bark"! I hope that when I do introductions they go well. But overall I'm so happy with him!

Thank you! He is such a sweetie! He lets me pet him already, and comes to the cage while he is playing. I think I'm going to try tent time tonight. I cannot wait to start introductions!
So.. I got a little impatient. They've been chirping back and forth for about a week and since both their vet visits went awesome we tried some tent time just now.
It went great! They immediately started grooming each other and being all cuddly. I offered a new pouch and both went in no problem. They went back to sleep in the new cage. I feel so much better and will definitely keep an ear out for any issues.
Congrats on the pairing, you will have tons of fun with two, the fun begins! If you have not seen the 7 deadly sins on netflix yet, I highly recommend it!
