I'm having trouble telling the difference between playing and fighting between Genevieve & Charlotte. They ball up and make that 'tsk tsk' sneeze sound all the time. I thought when they balled up, that meant they were fighting but after two weeks of it, I don't think it's getting worse, and it doesn't look like they hate each other. And they don't just do it in one particular place...it's every where. In the pouch, in the wheel, on top of the wheel, on the vine, under the cage mat, hanging upside down, climbing all around, etc.
Is this normal? are they just playing? should I be worried?
in other news - Genevieve is working on her 'Mission Impossible' moves. She loves to hang upside down for lengthy periods of time while performing various tasks. The best is when she does it from the corner hammock directly above the food plate. She'll stretch as far as she can (upside down) and pick up a piece of food and then pull back up real fast and eat it. She also grooms upside down, and just hangs by one foot while she hugs her tail with the other 3 feet. Does anyone else's gliders do this?

HaHaHa.....yes, my gliders do the same moves like you're describing. I'm always thinking "how can it possibly be comfortable to eat like that?" lol. If they were fighting, I think you'd be able to tell. Mine used to wrestle now and then which may look like 'balling up' but certainly doesn't sounds like it. If you could get a video, we may be able to tell more definitively.

I was able to catch them doing it several times last night. I'm 99.9% positive they're playing. It's so funny because up until now, I couldn't catch them in the act. Every time I'd hear them do it, they'd stop as soon as I went up to the cage and looked. Well this time, I pulled the cage right up next to my chair so I could keep a closer eye on them while I worked. Those little rascals went under the cage liner to do it, thinking I wouldn't be able to see them. They were wrong lol. Each time I heard them going at it, I opened the cage door and lifted up the liner real quick. And every time, I caught Charlotte on top of Genevieve. One time I was so quick, that they didn't even realize I had opened it so I was able to watch. It's Charlotte that makes all the noise even though she's the one on top of Genevieve lol! They stopped and looked at me as if I'd asked them, "what are y'all doing?" and their response would have been, "nothing mom!" all innocent like two little kids.

You're probably right about them playing, but if you're concerned, you can always check them over for injuries (which I'm sure you'd have spotted by now anyway)
Mine enjoy their acrobatics too. When Sugar is particularly excited, she'll go up to the top platform, jump up to ceiling of the cage and back down. It's ADORABLE when she does this repeatedly!

yes! they both do it as part of their nightly routine. and I swear they land as hard as they can on purpose to see who's loudest. I see you have a ringtail mo and a gray like me. Does your gray have a black dot on each one of her toes? Mine does and the breeder said she must have black beauty in her. I don't know anything about that stuff though so I have no clue.

If they were balled up fighting they wouldn't stop and look at you when you busted them for it. They would still be out for blood.
I would say they are just wrestling around.

Lol my Mo is actually a Silver, no rings on the tail, it's just the closest icon available. Spice does in fact have black knuckles, but I was under the impression that it's a normal trait among classics. I'm not well versed in determining these things though, so I could be wrong
