Yep, they've got a picture of mine that I took of a glider that I sold to Lynsie. They probably took it from her site since I'm pretty sure that it's not on mine anymore.(At least, the entire picture isn't)

OMG, I thought that looked like Bear but I wasn't for sure, cause I don't think Lynsie has that pic of him. I will have to check and see. That makes me even more mad <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tantrum.gif" alt="" />

*UPDATE* Lynsie does have that pic, but hers isn't cropped and it's not in her site or her photobucket. So, I wonder how she got that. . .Ernie, did you send those pics to any other potential buyers?

The pic that they have of mine is one that I used when I was selling the little guy through my website. I really don't remember, all that stuff, email exchanges etc.. were done on my desktop which as of right now is dead.

Someone posted on here about Clarks awhile back. They saw that pictures had been used that were here on GC. That's been awhile ago.

They are using one of my pictures as well. I did email them politely and was told to PROVE that the picture was mine, and threatened to have the person who made the ceramic bowl in the picure (I made the bowl, the box and took the picture of my gliders) sue me! I explained that it was mine, that it was copyrighted etc. They basically told me "tough" not going to change their practices at all.

Aren't these the same people, Clarks Sugar GLiders, that have ads on Hoobly using that pic of the two gliders in the ball? There was some controversy as to that pic as well. They seem to be selling the same two gliders over and over again..

Re: Clark Sugar Gliders - 04/15/06 12:09 PM

I actually have proof that SHE sends gliders through the post office. I have turned her into the Indiana Postal Inspectors. They were VERY interested to know she's done it. With the info that I have, along with the information that she herself posted here, they have what they need to prosecute her. No need to lie low and hide it from her any longer. Who knows if her little story about the gliders was true? I personally think that SHE had someone send her a breeding pair and because she didn't want to spend the cash to take them to a vet, she came onto GC for help. She obvioulsy couldn't tell the truth so she made up her story. I've been to her site....does it say anywhere that she is a rescuer or give her personal information so people could just mail her a package as she stated in her post? Uhm, no. There is no way to contact her from that site without calling or emailing her. She KNEW the gliders would be sent to her if they were sent at all. Since she claims to be USDA licensed, I have contacted them about her as well. It just boggles my mind that she is SO blatant about breaking the law. Not just any laws either, but FEDERAL laws. There is nothing about her site or her practices that are the least bit honest. As far as I can tell, the only thing real on her website is the photo of her dogs. It's sad that even something such as sugar gliders can bring out the worst in people.

I have posted a warning on my website about her and I encourage all vendors/rescuers, etc., to do the same. When someone comes online for the first time to research gliders, we want to make sure they get the message loud and clear. Since some of us have had personal dealings with her and KNOW her to be a fraud, it is not slandering her to put a post on your site. If we can save ONE person from going through what some of these other posters have gone through, we help the glider community as a whole. It makes us all look bad for one rotten apple to come along.
