First time..they're in the bra ! - 03/07/05 01:14 AM
YiHa. I have read and reread so many suggestions (thank you everyone for all of your posts) on Bra babies. Some of which made sense, others which I knew wouldn't work for our girls. I thought I would share what worked for me so far today.
We have had our baby girls since Mid December. They are not fully bonded yet. They are in their cage, a pouch or their tent. At this point they are not allowed to be out in a room crawling on us because our home has too many potential dangers. A glidder proof room is currently being worked on.
"Just pick them up and put them in your bra." Mmmm. First off, they wouldn't let us pick them up. I have spent several weeks putting my hand in their pouch and holding them when they are asleep. So they are now used to my hands holding them while they are sleeping. The last week while in the tent I would hold them in their pouch and slowing bring them all of the way out. Most times they would just crawl right back into the pouch once they realized they were out. But they didn't crab and seemed to be used to me moving them around whilst they are trying to sleep.
A few hours ago. I donned my bra baby training equipment! I have a regular bra on, a bra shelf type tank top over my bra, and a tight fitting turtle neck over it all. While in the tent I put a couple of their blankies in the shelf bra, picked them up and put them in. At first I had to kind of block them off from escaping, but sure enough they settled down and are resting comfortably. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/multi.gif" alt="" />
It does kinda tickle when they are scratching & grooming. I have the tight fitting turtle neck tucked into my pants on so if they choose to come out, I should be able to contain them long enough to give me time to get back into the tent.
Oh yeah...I am a 36DD.
