Jen, I am saddened to hear this news. I am so glad however, to know that you were with her at her end. She will always appreciate everything you did for her and knowing you were by her side. We're all here for you.

Thank you for all of your prayers and wishes. I feel so much better now. Something was tugging at my heart, telling me to go pick up Trixie from the vet's. I think she was waiting for me to pick her up so she could be with me when she passed. I now have a closure, that she was with me and I was with her, and for that, I am happy. I had 2 trios and a new single male. Now, I am going to introduce Dixie to Arrow, which was given to me as a surprise gift by Oldcolt58 at the SGGA. I will now have 3 pairs, instead of 2 trios and a single male. Jennifer and crew of 6

Jennifer, I am so so very sorry about Pixie. Take comfort that she didn't suffer and she knew you loved her very very much. I am about to start , but I had a mental image of all those gliders in glider heaven, "Hi there Pixie, how are you? Who was your mommy?" Pixie answers "my mommy was "Jennifer or Pixtrix" and yours?" "Oh, hey, my mommy knew your mommy! Cool!" And then they glide off best of friends till we are all reunited. Corny maybe, but it's a happy thought in the midst of the pain! You are in my prayers. Chey

Last March I lost my first glider to liver cancer. You did the right thing when you went to pick her up. I wasn't with my little boy when he passed and I have regretted it ever since. Those last moments you spent with her must have been a great comfort to you both. I'm so sorry for your loss, may she live on in your memories.

This is one of the many sites with the Rainbow Bridge poem. http://rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htmI have always found it to be a bit comforting. Marvin
