Wondering if any one is getting "Funkeys" for their kids for Christmas? ... I am (for grand kids & self) - so we can play together. Yes.... it is an interactive game your kids play on the computer, and they can safely interact with friends and family members that have the starter set as well... and each individual Funkey (20 plus to choose from) unlocks some thing new with in the game.

What's the age range on these? I'm wondering why my children aren't ALL OVER THIS already...lol

I'm not sure of the recommended age for these toys.... but the kids I will be playing with range in age from 6 to 10.

Funkeys are small, colorful characters that inhabit Funkeystown, in a virtual world called Terrapinia - Players navigate a number of zones and portals where they play games to earn coins... with their coins they can buy items to customize their homes, referred to as "cribs" in the game.
Each Funkey acts like a key that grants access to new zones in the game.
Users progress through the game as they collect different figures... you become the figure in the game that you hook up.
You can see their official website listed in my first post... and learn more about the game, each funkey, and watch videos from the game.

Mine are big into webkinz, I do believe Funkeys were made off the ideal of Webkinz... and the kids I am buying the Funkeys for have both (funkeys & webkinz).
