my sister wants to make a rice dish for us for dinner any ideas..im not much of a rice lover any ideas ?

We make a broccoli/rice/cheese casserole. Not sure of exact measurements, but for one serving, use 1 box of the frozen chopped broccoli, 4-6 servings of rice, and 1 jar of cheeze whiz. Cook the broccoli and rice and then combine all 3 into a square baking dish. Heat in oven at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes.

it was really good..and i am not the one who likes rice much..lol my mother was always making something with rice..maybe thats way i never like it much lol

That sound's really and each holiday we try to make one different dish besides the regular stuff - maybe this yr we'll try this one

My mom used to make a chicken rice dish that was very good. I don't remember the cxact recipe but if I remember correctly it called for cream of chicken soup, milk, uncooked rice, and chicken. I might be missing an ingredient or two...

Now you have me thinking..I might have to find the recipe and make it!
