So I am going to be in my friend's wedding this June and the bride is absolutely clueless as to going about finding bridesmaid dresses. It has been put upon my shoulders to try to find bridal shops with cute dresses, show them to her for approval, call said stores and figure out price ranges, and so on. The bride wants everyone to be in the same dress even though we have everything from an 11 year old to adults in the party. She wants the dresses to be nice looking but under $120 each, and I am having a hard time finding something that will work. I am at my wit's end with this and getting very frustrated with it all. So if anyone knows of any brand that is cheap but nice looking, let me know! I would really appreciate it!

Try Mori Lee (the designer, most shops carry their stuff) I JUST went bridesmaid dress shopping a little over a week ago (for my own wedding) and our favorite dress was a $130 one from Mori Lee. Because I bought my dress at the same place they also gave a 20% discount. The other thing, I have gotten several e-mails that Mori Lee is having a trunk sale right now, pretty much at every bridal shop that carries their stuff.

Just checked, the trunk show is Nov 28-30th and you get 20% off their dresses if you buy during the trunk show.

you may try ebay..:) they may have what your looking for you just never know

I work at Davids Bridal and they usually have decent prices. Also they offer discounts if the bride's dress is bought there.

I got my dress from them at a good price

davids bridal is actually expensive, i bought a bridesmaids dress that i wore 2 weeks ago and that thing was $260 bucks, plus i had to buy shoes that were $60. i think your best bet would be to order online like i did for my own wedding. my bridesmaids got very pretty dresses for $120 and my wedding dress was only $300. these are mine.

You can possibly find someone to make all of them, and depending on the fabric, very likely it would be less than $120 each. When I got married, my bridesmaids were all over the place, so I picked a pattern, bought the fabric, and mailed all of it off to each bridesmaid, to get them made locally - it was definitely under $100 each for them.

Chadwicks of Boston- you can find them online- has great bridesmaid dresses. I used to work for them, so I know the quality is decent! Make sure whatever you find you CALL to order, because you can request dresses to come out of the same dye lot, so they match exactly. And they have plus and petite sizes.

Otherwise, Ebay- loved it, used it for everything at my wedding!

David's Bridal is at least a good place to start looking. They have a huge selection and generally have a good selection of prices too. One of the bridesmaids dresses for my brother's wedding was only $70 from there.

i got them for my daughters' wedding party this past spring from Macys. I actually bought them in the fall and they were on clearance cause we were looking for summer style. I ended up getting them for less than $35 each. We had grown quite frustrated looking for something that would be appropriate on a 10 year old and not make the 20 somethings look like old maids. Her maid of honor ended up being 8 months pregnant for the wedding day and the dress didn't even have to be altered because it was a stretchy/gathered material from the chest to the hip. I'll try to find a pic later when I'm on my desktop instead of laptop. This is a great time of year to find bargains in the 'prom' sections if your open minded and don't absolutely require that it come from a bridal store. You might even ask if they have things in the stockroom that may have been put away for the holiday season-if they know your looking to purchase a few they aren't likely to deny you taking a look.

David's bridal always runs sales but bit of advice ....if you need it altered bring it somewhere else! my bridesmaids got thier dresses there for $79! but they wanted almost $100 to alter. We bought the dresses there and found a local who altered them for 20 - 40 apiece!

Have you tried looking on Ebay? Large selection and cheap.. Just a thought

i was maid of honor in my friends wedding. we were gonna use davids bridal, but it would take 2 months or more to get dresses and we only had 6 weeks. i found this place. they are so great, good prices, and they ship in a week, so you have plenty of time. they even worked with me when my zipper messed up. plus the dresses are great quality and come in lots of colors.
