I have mine on the bottom but I use the small plastic chain to attach it to the back wall of the cage so it can't move

I'm no expert but I believe that is better than ok! Having him with you all day will help him love you even more. Good Luck

As long as he seems fine with it, I say go for it! It all depends on how long you've had him and how the bonding is going between you guys. Just make sure you have something for him to nibble on and keep him hydrated if you keep him on you for extended periods of time!

I keep one wheel on the floor and one ziptied to the side of the cage close to the top.
Carrying him with you everyday should be fine, especially with him being a lone glider. I make sure mine are asleep before I bring them with me and that way they just crawl right down my bra and go to sleep.

Also depending on what type of wheel you have and how hard Duckie runs on it while depend on whether or not you need to ziptie it down on the floor of the cage.
I use two stealths and do not ziptie it to the floor.

I have mine on a schedule of waking up time and bed time, so its quite easy.
Don't worry Lara if he has never been a bra baby it might just take sometime and work. My 8 yr old glider was never a bra baby before I got him but once he figured out how much his mate liked it he started diving too!

My stealth wheel is side mounted about 10inches off the floor and my wodent is side mounted(with zip-ties) towards the top of the cage. I have 2 girls & take them to work every day(no exceptions) I take Bandit on Mon & Weds & take Mojo on Tues & Thurs. On Friday I take them both. I put a little piece of an apple in my pocket(or pouch) to cover hungry & thirsty & I keep a few mealies in my desk. I have a few Yogurt treats as well because Ive gotten Bandit potty trained so I give her a yogurt treat every time she's goes.

Daron, Please share this "potty training" secret. PM me with details if you don't mind?? Lara, Taking Duckie everyday is a wonderful idea! Weather they are asleep, or awake, I take my gliders out with me at all times of the day. As long as they are settled in the pouch before I leave the house, I'm happy. I always give them either apples or grapes to keep them hydrated and happy. I also have a little portable waterer (like the gerbil kind). Happy Gliding!
