I'm so sorry Clotho is sick. I hope her infection resolves soon. Sending thought and prayers for both of you.

Her gums and teeth are looking better inside her mouth-still some swelling under the chin. Hopefully the meds will take care of it, though, given time. Definitely still has some healing to do, and I'm keeping a close eye on her, poor girl. She's young and otherwise healthy , so I think she'll be fine-I know from experience not to go short on the meds though, so that'll go for at least 2 weeks-we'll see what the vet says next Tues when I take her in.

I'm sort of with two minds about that...on the one hand I want it gone asap. On the other, I'd like something for the vet to look at. Swelling slowly going down, but she keeps getting some white buildup around those bottom teeth-not a lot and nothing like that first night-and the teeth have moved back together mostly-at first they were in a V shape almost. Counting hours until Tues morning-appointment is at 10 am.

Jen

Please be sure to post as soon as you can after your appt. to let us know how it went. Of course, you know that I am thinking of you and praying for you.

I can say, with Cheddar, there was never any swelling. That is why it was so puzzling. SO, given that and the fact that I know that you have been adding the vit. C., I would think it is probably not scurvy also.

Nonetheless, I pray that you will find answers and that Clotho heals ASAP. Keep us posted!

Hey girl - I'm so sorry I'm just now getting to this, you know how hectic this move has been, and I just got my internet hooked up last night.

How's our lil girl? Today is Tuesday, so I'm assuming you went to the vet today - I'll be checking in for updates. Little & I are on pins & needles - Give her extra kisses from us! heart

Gina, I don't know what happened, or why-but I'm doing everything to make your little girl better! Good to see you! hug2 hug2

Now, Tuesday's appointment was a wash-they cancelled my vet's flight out of VA (of course) and I didn't get the message-the hours I work and sleep are sometimes odd (well, lets be truthful-they're downright weird)-so we show up and have to be down there several hours for a Dr. thing with the hubby, and no vet. But they let me leave the 3 pouches with them for the day so they weren't spending hours in a car with no a/c, so that was a worry less. Riker was having some diarrhea, and the tech was awesome about giving them fruits and fluids while they were there. smile Picked them up on the way home, and had another appointment for 10:30 Wednesday morning-which was a work day instead of my day off. *sigh* So I get up at 8:30 am, my son has an appointment with the Marine recruiter at our house at 12:30, and I have to work at 11 pm. Grit teeth and go.

Lyah still has an abscess between those front bottoms, but it has actually TIGHTENED UP some! Clotho also is abscessed there-almost all of the chin swelling was gone, but there was enough for her to see, and still infection down in between those bottom incisors. Forgot to ask about the dratted vit C, I'll send that with another thing I need to finish asking about, but DID ask about the gelpacks (and a couple other things) like SugarBlossom's Badger had...and she thought that was a great idea. They're commonly used in rabbits and other smaller animals. I didn't realize they actually injected it in and then it hardens, and dissolves in there with 24 hour application of the antibiotics directly to the area until it's gone. Interesting to watch it go in. So that is now in in BOTH Lyah and Clotho's mouths. Since Clotho had only been about a week on oral meds she's staying on those as well for another week-Lyah is off oral meds with only the gelpack. I'll update about Riker as soon as I get his pictures uploaded-hopefully this weekend.

So, no sleep on vet day, as the recruiters were there answering all my son's questions and doing paperwork with him until around 5pm, then it was shower, glider meds, dinners, etc and work-I was over 32 hours up by the time I got a few hours nap the following day, lol, then work again, recruiters to finish paperwork, getting son's registration done (his HS starts soon, and we missed his reg on the 15th with the vet and all, so had to take care of it the next day), work, this morning seeing his counselor to finish hammering out his itinerary for his Diploma for the year, and on and on, but I managed about 6 hours sleep today-so sorry this is late, just been an insane week. crazy

hug2 I'm so glad they got the gel pack! I hope they heal up fast like my baby did! I had NO IDEA it was injected into the gum. Good thing I didn't. I'd STILL be stuck to the ceiling! crazy
