Monster is not responding well to the BML. The first couple nights, she licked the bowl clean, now she won't touch it. I'm expecting a new glider soon who is yogurt intolerant, so I have been researching other
diets. After too many hours of reading, I've narrowed it down to Suncoast or Darcy's, but I still am a bit confused on a few aspects of Darcy's. I have read all parts of this thread so please do not refer me back to another part of this thrad. Here are my questions:
1: Can you use RepCal w/D3 instead of the crushed calcium pills, if so, how much per can of Ensure?
2: If you use the high calcium Ensure, do you still need the calcium pill (or RepCal D3)and JurrassiCal (or one and not the other)?
3: Can you use just insects for your protein source or do you have to have pinkies or chicks? If you can't just offer bugs, do you have to offer both pinkies and chicks or can it just be pinkies?
I just want to make sure I understand both
diets clearly before I choose one. This is my understanding of Darcy's as of right now, someone please tell me if I'm on the right track or correct me if I'm going astray:
1 T Ensure Nectur mix (1 can Ensure/1/4 t Jurrassical)
2 T fruit & veggies sprinkled w/ crushed 250mg calcium pill
1 T mixed insects (crickets/mealworms)
Zookeepers secret fresh and available 24/7
1 pinkie or chick once/week
