hi guys!

So I have 4 sugar gliders that I'm keeping at my apartment! I didnt have AC until recently, it was 90 degrees in my apartment! I noticed that the kids seemed to be getting too hot.

So i git an oscillating fan, gave them Melons to pick on during the day, and a little Gatorade in their water. I also made nesting boxes in case the pouches were too warm.

Question. Will they move themselves if they get too hot!?

When i checked in the pouches, their chests and wrists were a tad wet, so i got worried. They are currently at my boyfriends now bc it stays under 78 there.

Now I put an AC unit in my bedroom. It brings the temp in the bedroom to 82 and the main room is about 86 right now. I was wondering if you guys thought it would still be too hot for them!?

I miss them, and really want them back, but I feel I might have to wait till fall. I dont want them to get heat exhaustion!

Any opinions!?

Thank you!

Do you have an oscillating fan in your room also? That will help move the cool air around. I live in an apartment and the room that the gliders are in gets very warm the hallway to that room is 75 to 80 degrees.

The apartment air conditioner is in the sitting room. We have 6 tower fans in the apartment just to move the air so that we are comfortable and they are as comfortable as we can make it for them.

Hi! Thanks for the reply! I have a box fan sitting a few feet away blowing the air towards the main room! And then an oscillating fan in the main room, few feet away from the box fan in hopes it helps move the cool air further out! Im hoping that works.

They are back with me for now, im off of work the next couple of days. So I can monitor them!
