man I am so sorry to hear that he didn't make it. I hope they find it just something with him and not the rest of your gliders. I know defects can show up at random in animals just like in humans. I do like that shirt I might have to try to make one or 2 for our gliders lol

I'm so sorry for your loss. He looks so sweet. you shouldn't feel guilty at all... You did everything you could to give him an opportunity to have a great life. You Even put him before your needs. I hope you feel better soon.

If you want to know what a person is like, watch how he treats others.

You'll never know what the outcome is if you don't step up and try.

Here is the necropsy part of Momo's record that the vet emailed me.
Quote:

Gross Necropsy findings:

External exam: Thin body condition. Poor hair coat. Saliva staining around mouth and chest.

Respiratory system: Both lungs firm on palpation. Lungs had tan to brown patches of discoloration (R>L).

Circulatory system: Heart and greater vessels within normal limits.

Digestive system: Esophagus, stomach, small intestine and large intestine within normal limits. Liver edges rounded, but normal in size and appearance.

Urogenital system: Bladder full, but otherwise normal in appearance. Kidneys within normal limits.

Musculoskeletal system: No intra-abdominal body fat noted.

Nervous system: Brain was within normal limits.

Endocrine system: Pancreas and adrenal glands within normal limits.

Lymphatic system: Spleen within normal limits.

Tissues collected for histopathology: Esophagus, trachea, lungs, heart, liver, pancreas, spleen, stomach, duodenum, jejunum, illeum, colon, bladder, adrenal glands, kidneys, brain, bone (femur, tibia, pes).

Gross Diagnoses: Inanition; neurologic signs of unknown cause

The samples are being mailed to The Sugar Group for histopathology and I will post an update of what they say.
