My most (funny)favorite sounds that I have heard for the past couple years have been those of my babies, crabbing @ me while they are shoveling the mealies, or crickets, or yoggies into their mouth.

It's so funny that there was this post today, I was eager to share my experience, just last evening. I was extremely delighted to hear that sweet chirping sound coming from my girls, when I walked over to their cage when they're out last evening and they came running to the front of cage, near the door with that lovely chirping sound going, especially when I heard it coming from my Lulu. I've heard them make that sound at times during "out of cage play", sometimes during pouch time and while they're eating their mealies, even during nail trims. I haven't heard them make it just seeing me coming over to their cage before last night.

I like the click they make to greet you. When we first got them and the first time I heard them make it to each other when one would enter the pouch to snuggle with the other, I realized it was a special greeting they used for each other. The first time one of them made it to ME, I thought So I like the clicking...and the pop/purr sound when they are sleeping on your chest. And Arwen makes this soft whispery sss sound. I used to wake her up by softly and slowly saying sweetie, and soon she would respond with her own soft sss sss sounds. I figure she was trying to copy me and the "s" sounds was all her glider voice could make. She is the only one in my house to do it, and only to me.

One of my first gliders used to call me to come see him by saying 'Yesss' really loudly. I loved that sound, but he was the only one of mine that has ever done it consistently and for that reason. Otherwise, the muffled chirrups while they are eating something really yummy and can't stop to chirp clearly, because it's just sooo good is a very close tie with the good morning clickies they give me while nuzzling.

If we never loved, then maybe we would never feel pain. Love anyway. It's worth it.

I love it when Jasper makes the chirping noise, but he only does it when he's eating one of his favorite treats. Then there's the calling noise he makes to announce that he's awake and wants me to say good morning to him. He gets rather upset if he doesn't hear it, lol.

I like all their sounds when I get to play with them. The only thing I wish happened less was the big pee they take sometimes on my shirt /hands. it hard to share a glider to people as they peeing a large puddle out. Crabbing while grabbing and stuffing the mealie in their mouth is funny.
