I'm not sure if this the right place to post this, so mods move this as you see fit...
I just have a quick question. Can it ever be too dark for the babies? I have mine in my downstairs bathroom, and as I discussed in a cage related post, my particular cage makes quite a racket! So I keep the door closed at night. There are no lights downstairs, and it's pitch black in their bathroom. So I got them a little moon-type nightlight, which seems to do the trick. But I was wondering, for my own personal knowledge, and for those of you who keep your cages covered at night, can it ever be too dark for them? Thanks in advance! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanx.gif" alt="" />

I have found that they prefer to have some source of light during the night. The night light you put in should keep them happy.
They also need natural light during the day. This keeps their internal clock working. Does the bathroom have windows that let in adaquate light?
